Vacation Bible School 2011 (Beach Blast)

Let's go down to the beach!! That was the theme for this year's Vacation Bible School at Immanuel Baptist Church. Over 100 children and workers turned out to make the 2011 summer training program a big success!. The children were taught about God's love for them as demonstrated through the life Christ and the teachings of the Bible. The teachers used everything from multi-media presentations, to classroom discussion, to arts and crafts projects to open every child's heart to the possibilities of God's plan for their lives. The week was capped off with a special Sunday morning service where every child's family was treated to a review of their child's VBS activities and accomplishments. Special thanks to Heather Hurtt and her crew who banded together and worked hard to make this year's VBS time so successful!

In Appreciation for 10 Years at Immanuel

Dr. May and his wife Iva recently completed their 10th year of service, ministering to the people of Immanuel Baptist Church. In honor of their faithful and tireless efforts in their promotion of the gospel and ministry to the body of Christ, we took a moment to look back, and say a heartfelt, "Thank You"!

VBS Route 254 Journey is Complete!

Vacation Bible School 2010 is History!

We arrived at our destination, completing the journey along Route 254. Vacation Bible School 2010 was a great success with well over 100 kids, counselors and workers enjoying the road trip. 

Thanks to all the students who faithfully participated and made this year's VBS one of our most rewarding ever. It is our prayer that you finished the week with a deeper understanding of how to follow God's path for you life through Jesus Christ.

Mexico Missions Team Update

See the work of our seven member mission team as they served for one week in Le'on, Mexico. The team spent the time performing intensive evangelism support work with one of our former staff members and the Armonia Familiar Church, taking the good news of Jesus Christ to the communities of Le'on.

Vacation Bible School 2009 "Truth Trek" Wrap-Up

"Truth Trek", the theme for Immanuel's 2009 Vacation Bible School, concluded with our annual "VBS Family Day" emphasis during Sunday morning services. A large number of visitors blessed our church as whole families showed up to take in the sights and sounds of their children's hard work. By any measure, this year's VBS was a huge success, and provided an opportunity for God's church to expand the ministry of the Body of Christ. The services included a live performance by all of this year's students and this short video that looked back on the week's activities.
